Environment:

Situation:
miggui posts error when connecting to server.

Error seems to imply LDAP SSL issues however LDAP is confirmed to be working fine.

Migration log shows the following error:

MigUtils:Authentication:Executing command:/opt/novell/sms/bin/nbackup -U root -R x.x.x.x -cf /var/opt/novell/migration/SSH migration/migsrc.sidf /etc/SuSE-release
Migration Framework:Authentication:nbackup: Unable to retrieve the Target Service Name list from x.x.x.x, trying with DNS name xxx.xxx.com
Migration Framework:Authentication:nbackup: Failed to open dataset migration/migsrc.sidf for backup
Migration Framework:Authentication:nbackup: (libtsafs.so 6.50.0 291) An invalid path was used.

Cause:

The path used for the project contains a "space". For example the path used in the above case was:
/var/opt/novell/migration/SSH migration/  

Resolution:

Create a new project and ensure that the path to the project does not contain a space
