Remote Control without Novell Client

This tool is for: ZfD 7 Remote Control in passwor-based Authentication

I made this tool for use in our AD network. We no longer have the Novell client on our computers. It adds a "Remote Control" and "Remote View" options to the right click menu when you right click on a computer object in the Network Neighborhood view.

To install unzip the remote folder to the root of c: then run setup.reg. Open rm.bat and replace letmein with your remote control password. As long as your DNS can resolve computer names to IP addresses this program should work. Feel free to email with any suggestions and/or questions.

If you are using the Novell Client, you can change the executable line in rm.bat to

    c:\remote\RCConsole -n"treename" -c%2 -t"0" -s"2" -a"%name%" -w""

changing treename to your own treename, and then access the workstation using Novell rights.
