NFARM for Mac - Support for Active Directory users - Coming Soon

OES2018 SP2 release will be coming with OES File Access Right Management (NFARM) for Mac!  

We are providing a solution for managing Active Directory(AD) users on NSS share. Now we will be able to perform trustee management for them from macOS. Here are some of the highlights:

Trustee Rights

  • Listing of all AD trustees that are assigned for the Volume, files or folders
  • Option to Add, Remove and Modify AD trustees for a Volume, file or folder
  • Undo local changes with 'Revert' and make them permanent with 'Apply'
  • Tab 'Inherited Rights Filter' helps to block the inheritance from parent
  • Tab 'Effective Rights' to check the effective rights of a user on the path
  • Tab ' Trustee for Directories' lists trustees for corresponding subdirectories and parent directories

User Quota

  • Add, edit, or remove the user quota limit for a single or multiple users concurrently
  • Lists the quota limit, used, and remaining for every user at volume level

Directory Quota

  • Change owner of a file
  • Edit the attributes for the selected path
  • Change directory quota limit
