Force Retain to enter in maintenance mode

Hi,

Is there any way to force Retain to enter in maintenance mode?

We are configuring monitoring with Nagios and we want to validate if we are able to detect when Retain enters in maintenance mode.

did you get to the bottom of this?

if not, i would suggest you contact support and then we can get some additional eyes on this.

I haven't managed to find a way to force it.
Finally, we have chosen to monitor the log file and detect when the message appears that indicates that Maintenance mode has been entered.
But we'll have to wait until it happens agains to validate the script works correctly.
