Retain 4.0.3.0 Deletion Managment

Hi,

There server works great but I am now running out of disk space. So I configured the "Deletion Management" and selected a few mailboxes to reduce from 10 year to 5 years of data. Then did a manual "Run Job Now" but the job never starts. System log shows normal messages, but no deletion job ....

Any help with this will be appreciated.

mmmh, I found some info in the /var/log/retain-tomcat7/RetainServer<date>.log. Not much detail but at least I can see if the job is running ....
oh well, reclaim some disk space and then I guess it is time for an upgrade ....

Indeed. You are actually out of support on that version.

mmmh, out of support does not help the problem...Not much disk space, remove logs and other junk, cannot migrate to new hardware cos not enuff space and the SAN is at the limit, backup take 3 days, no archive is a huge problem ... so back to the problem .... anyway, I called a guy, we hacked around, moved some stuff, got back 300 gb, doing an hardware upgrade and migrate to new version .... then it is someone else's problem....
