Groupwise turned off retain search now doesn't work

Hi.

So we have moved away from Groupwise and have turned our groupwise system off last month but now cannot search retain.

If you login directly as a user under Browse you can see your emails, or change mailbox and see emails in other mailboxes but as soon as you try searching you don't get anything. No results no error messages the results are just zero and it's not really like it's trying to search.

You can select mailboxes out of the lists of date range etc.. but you just get no search results with no errors.

Any ideas. running a recent version upgraded around 5  months ago to the latest available then.

    I would start with checking that the indexing if running without errors.  it might have gotten stuck just coincidentally to the archiving jobs having been turned off.  Is your Retain now archiving for the replacement system?

    general server health check?  when was it last rebooted,  RAM and drive space checks, etc...
