RELEASE NOTIFICATION: Social Media Governance 7.1

A minor release has been released for Social Media Governance (SMG) 7. SMG delivers accurate and complete archiving for social media feeds and other collaboration tools: identifies and classifies risk according to industry-driven and company-defined priorities; and enables efficient management and tracking of compliance cases.

Release Content

In addition to bug fixes, the SMG 7.1 update provides:

  • Support for the upcoming update of Slack's Data Loss prevention API
  • Enhanced on-boarding and authorization for WeChat
  • Richer information for policy violations triggered as a result of the "Detect Malicious Links" rule
  • Improved usability for the Profile module and the Defend module
