Storage manager installation issue (again)

Hi,

I am having problems with a fresh 3.1.1.1 installation as domain admin on a 2012 DC. The engine installs fine, but when logging in to the admin console, the setup mode fails. I can click next in the first setup window, but the following screen gives me the login screen again with the error: 'The data is invalid'. Proxy option is defined as 'no proxy'. Firewall is off.

I can only abort the setup from this point.

Any ideas?

    Could you send a screenshot of the error and a copy of your Engine log
    to storagemanager@novell.com? We may need you to open a ticket to look
    at this, but we want to investigate further before we confirm that.

    We investigated this further. When creating a second NSM Admin account, this worked properly. We solved it by changing the password of the first domain admin. This one had a less then (<) character in it. After changing the password, the error went away and didn't return.
