Move user home dirs to new server

Windows 2012 server - engine

I am trying to move user home directories to a new Win2012 server.

I first tried using the Redistribute Policy Paths method. SM will create the folders on the new server, but will not move the files. I end up with an error of "An OS function has failed.

I have also tried changing the target path in the policy and then running the "Enforce Policy Paths" function in the Management Actions. Both end the same. The Pending Action State is Copying source data, and the error is "An OS function has failed".

What am I missing? Anyone have any ideas why the files aren't being moved?

    Do you have NSM agents installed on the source and destination servers,
    and if so, are they also 3.1.1?

    Mike,

    Does the new Windows 2012 server have the File Server Resource Manager
    feature installed? And does the Agent log file show any specific error
    codes (anything with a result code that isn't 0)?
