bug in "apply group membership"

the backfill operation "Apply Group Membership" does not seem to rebuild trustees for owners of the group. File system trustees of the Home dir are the group object (RWECMF) and -owner- (RF). there are tree owners in the group object, yet backfilling the group in NSAdmin with "Apply Group Membership" does not create any trustees for them in the file system.
We're running the latest nsm version for edir on nw65sp5, storage is on a nss clustered volume. adding and removing users to the owner list DOES produce the file system trustees as it should, just backfilling does not work. known issue, any fix available?

cheers, Lothar
