Error Message when trying to update locations

Hi All,

I am getting an error message when trying to update some locations, one is a person and the other is a position type, any ideas? we are running version 8.3.0.9232

    We had that same problem when we went to v8.11 .  Turns out we had some Custom Users in our Location table which it sees as a UserType 7.  In v8.x there is no longer a UserType 7 and that's the reason you are getting the error message.

    Just have your DBA issue the SQL statements below to correct them.

    To see the location records that have this condition, the SQL statement is:

         select lcName from TSLOCATION where URI IN (select luLocUri from TSLOCUSAGE where luUserType = 7)

    To correct these records, the SQL staement is:

         update TSLOCUSAGE set luUserType = 5 where luUserType = 7
