Cannot rename file .tmp

Hi everybody,

I'm getting the following errors for some of my VM backups for few days ago.

Details:
Failed: Cannot rename the file [RUP-NAS01 Backup] VMX/RUP-DC01/Quotidienne/2019-07-03-210002/RUP-DC01.vmx.070321001013.tmp to [RUP-NAS01 Backup] VMX/RUP-DC01/Quotidienne/2019-07-03-210002/RUP-DC01.vmx ()

How can I resolve this problem ?

    Give it already a solution?

    My Backup have a Filename .tmp .

    Bump ... has anyone found a solution to this?  I just ran into this this week.

     

    First it manifested itself as a "could not delete [directory]" error, so I manually deleted the directory.  The backup then started, but ends with this "cannot rename .tmp file" error.

     

    ESXi 6.7U3
