VSS draining operating system C: drive

Hi all,

I'm using VM Explorer 7.1.001 and backing up VMs on a Hyper-V server with local storage, the VMs are located on the D: drive, my problem is the Volume Shadow Copy (triggered by vm explorer backup) is being written to the C: drive which is causing it to fill up and run out of space.

Does anyone know if this VSS location can be selected somewhere in the VM Explorer console or is there a registry hack for this?

I know you can change VSS options in Computer Management and I've tried this but it makes no difference as I believe the VSS Writer command comes from VM Explorer itself and is just using the windows VSS engine with its own options.

thanks in advance!
