VM Backup fails with VIX_E_HOST_NETWORK_CONN_REFUSED error. Could not connect to the vmdk

Hello everyone,

As title says Im gaving an issues with some of my VMs. Whole vCenter machines backup normally exept for 3 Windows 2016 VMs. They fail with error: Could not connect to file.vmdk. VIX_E_HOST_NETWORK_CONN_REFUSED. Why does vCenter refuse the contact?

vCenter version - 6.7, Explorer version - 7.1.001

    Are the Windows 2016 VMs in question located on an older ESXi host or is there something else different about them?

    Hello Sebastian, thank you very much for your reply.

    No, all ESXi nodes that host those VMs run version 6.7. All is on version 6.7. VMWare tools version 10246, however it shouldnt be the problem since others with the same version backups just fine.

    Update - When executing the task, Microfocus connects to the vCenter, creates a snapshot, but it seems like it fails when it comes to downloading it.
