Application Startup by Product report shows incorrect number

Hello all,

I don't quite understand how ZAM actually generates the information for Startup Count of say Microsoft Word 2013 Or Adobe Photoshop CC
Or what this options really mean.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The usage monitoring component of ZENworks Asset Management monitors the launch and shutdown of all Windows applications. So the launch count is based on the number of times the application was observed as starting up in the enterprise, reportable by device, by user, or by aggregate. Additional calculations will show usage time (shutdown time - launch time) and, perhaps the most useful information, the time the application is in the active window in the Windows interface. That's the time the application is actually being used.
