ZAM Task Servers in Different Time Zones

I have my Web Server/Admin/Primary Collection Server in CDT (Central Time). I have several Task Servers at other locations, such as Europe (CEST).

Based upon my interpretation of the manual I am supposed to enter the scan date/time based upon the Manager time.

Strangely these times appear to change themselves and I am not exactly sure when this occurs. For example, I scheduled a scan for the Europe task server at 2:00 AM CDT, and with the 7 hour time difference this should be locally 9 AM. Later on some of these tasks become 10 PM and other odd times.

I am wondering if the local Task Server changes the request date/time when it runs... Hopefully this thread makes sense.

did you find a cause for this?
If not, what version are you running?

IIRC, the schedule is submitted and stored in GMT with a time adjusting for your GMT offset. With various daylight savings times etc, you might see a variation of a hour here or there throughout the year.

Network discovery tasks run at the time defined and for task server that they are run from.
e.g. If the task is set for 10am and the task server server is in London, England but your database and central server are in New York, the task will occur at 10AM London time or 5AM EST /- 1 hour adjusting for DST variations.

Yes, I have been playing around and I think that the following is the case.

The first time the task runs at the DB server local time. The second and subsequent time the task runs at the Task Server local time.

If you edit the task from the Manager Task tab even stranger times appear. You need to delete the task a resubmit. See attachment.

    Thanks for your help.
