When linking Department, Site or Cost Center to contract, it is necessary to have defined those values on a inventoried device via ldap import, ADF or manual edit Demographic data.
Since inventoried devices shouldn't be necessary for the ability to make contracts or link with Department, Site or Cost Center, it would be good to decouple those from inventoried device so they can be used across different asset types without the need for workstations.
