The mechanism by which ZENworks updates are available @ Novell Customer Central (NCC) portal, makes it easy for Administrator(s) to consume ZENworks updates in a automated fashion.

There were issues posting these updates on NCC & that has been addressed in ZENworks 11SP4. I am happy to say that NCC is now operational & the first ZENworks update that is posted is “Update for ZENworks 11 SP4 (11.4.1)”. The "Update for ZENworks 11 SP4 (11.4.1)" release is an update over "Update for ZENworks (11 SP4)". It includes many defect fixes and new features in addition to the features available in "Update for ZENworks (11 SP4)". To know the details of this update, refer TID 7016895

In additional to the NCC fixes addressed in 11 SP4, there has been improvements done for a better usage of NCC. These improvements has been published as an update “Post 11SP4 Update Prereq” that is applicable for ZENworks Primary Servers. The action here is to apply “Post 11SP4 Update Prereq” update to all primary servers in the zone post upgrading to 11SP4. To know the details of this update, refer TID 7016896

The update “Post 11SP4 Update Prereq” by itself is available in NCC. Applying this update will make all upcoming updates seamless. Henceforth all future ZENworks updates are posted through NCC.
