Check out the new video tutorial that takes you step-by-step through migrating a ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM) 11 SP3 Appliance to a ZCM 11 SP4 Appliance.

This video will guide you through the following steps:

  1. Precheck system with Diagnostic Center

  • Prepare a new virtual disk (vastorage)

  • Copy ZCM 11 SP3 using the Migration Utility

  • Attach vastorage to ZCM 11 SP4 Appliance

  • Deploy and configure ZCM 11 SP4 Appliance

  • Migrate the ZCM 11 SP3 to ZCM 11 SP4

  • Mount additional ZCM 11 SP4 Appliance using the Appliance Console

  • Complete post migration tasks

    We are also looking for the same migration path. We would like to migrate our Zenworks 11.4 SLES 11 primaries to Zenworks 11.4 Appliance.

    Hello,
    we have just upgraded our Zenworks Configuration Management to 11.4.1. At the moment it is running on a SLES 11 SP3 for VMware x86_64. How can we switch to the Zenworks Virtual Appliance 11.4? Is there a migration path?
