As many of you are aware, ZENworks 2017 Update 2 was set to be released this week. However, on January 16, Oracle released a Critical Patch Update Advisory mentioning the vulnerabilities fixed in a number of its products. The Update fixed 21 vulnerabilities that are present in the previous versions of Java SE. Given the recent security concerns in the market, and since ZENworks uses Oracle Java SE, we have decided to take a little extra time to make sure we update the JVM inlcuded with ZENworks servers and agents to address these issues before shipping, as we know the importance of security our customers' environments. This will also mean you won't need to deploy Update 2 just to turn around and deploy an additional patch.

We apologize for the delay and expect to have the release available in about a week if all goes well after integrating the Java patch. Please check back here for updates if things change.
