I wanted to take a minute and introduce those of you in the community to the Product Management team for Endpoint Management (aka ZENworks) at Micro Focus. You should expect to see blogs, hear from them on webinars, participate in focus groups, attend community events and maybe even show up at your site occasionally.

I am the Product Line Manager and ZENguru that leads the endpoint management team and am based in our Provo, UT office. I've been involved with ZENworks in one form or another for as long as it has been around. In addition to owning overall strategy and vision for the portfolio I am also directly responsible for ZENworks Configuration Management, Micro Focus Application Virtualization and Micro Focus Mobile Management. When I'm not driving the Product Line I'm usually playing with my six kids or cooking something yummy in the kitchen. I love to travel, which is a good thing as I spend a lot of time visiting engineering in Bangalore and customers all over the world.

Vikram Goyal (vikram.goyal@microfocus.com)



Vikram is my right hand on the core ZENworks Configuration Management product, with a current focus on the integration work being done to bring mobile management capabilities into the product. He also has responsibility for the ZENworks Reporting capabilities and works closely with Jaspersoft to ensure we are getting the most out of this industry leading reporting tool. He's a big time music lover and can listen to almost anything (apart from death metal !) with a fondness for classic rock & EDM. Additionally, he loves traveling to historical places, with Egypt being his current dream destination. This picture has him standing amongst the ruins of Pompeii with Mount Vesuvius in background. He reads almost anything which he can lay his eyes on (his wife has experimentally proven it !) but is frequently found with a science fiction novel in his hands.

Darrin is a recent addition to the Product Management team, but not new to Novell or ZENworks. For the last several years he's been the documentation architect for ZENworks and the key writer for our ZENworks Endpoint Security Management and ZENworks Full Disk Encryption documentation. He's been involved with ZENworks pretty much since its inception. I'm pleased to welcome him to the the team as the Product Manager for our endpoint security products, including ZENworks Full Disk Encryption, ZENworks Endpoint Security Management and ZENworks Patch Management. He's excited to work with our passionate customers and top-notch engineering teams to define and deliver products that continue to secure , protect and delight our customers. During his non-work time, you'll find him taking pictures at his son's soccer matches, playing some of the beautiful golf courses here in Utah, or simply enjoying time with his wife, two daughters, and son.

Sharad Vasista (sharad.vasista@microfocus.com)



Sharad is a recent addition to the team. He comes to us from Nortel and Samsung with great agile product management experience and experience in the mobile and IoT domains. He will be heading up Product Management for the Micro Focus Service Desk product and working closely with Vikram and me on the core ZENworks Configuration Management product. When not at work, you can find him mountaineering - usually the Himalayas - his favorite pastime for imbuing the other "Zen" into his system.

Sandeep Virmani (sandeep.virmani@microfocus.com / @virmanisandeep)



While strictly speaking Sandeep is not a Product Manager I consider him a very important extension to my team. Sandeep is our User Experience Designer and is responsible for helping us create user experiences that delight our customers and your end-users. He's helping us through the complex process of reinventing the end-user experience, combining multiple end-user experiences, and eventually moving to a next generation administration console. Needless to say Sandeep's got a lot of work on his plate and he does a great job supporting my team as we take your ideas and ours and try to turn them into something usable and maybe even cool. Besides working Sandeep is passionate about photography, driving and spending quality cooking time with his 11 year old daughter.

I've got one open position at the moment as well for a Product Manager in charge of our ZENworks Asset Management product. I'll make sure to post an update once I find the right person. In the meantime I'm pitch hitting if you have ZAM issues.
