 You need to MDM Manage the PCs (ZCM Can do this easily) or join to a domain or the settings will be ignored...

Note: The steps in 20.3 and later involve some extra steps...by default, we assume you will be talking to MS, but that is not required and you can disable that requirement.

All my PCs are MDM managed through ZCM.  The issue is that I had a policy that pushed Edge settings out and now I needed to change some URLs within that policy and Edge is not picking up the new URLs.  It is as if the older version of the policy is still applied and the changes I made today are not going through.  But I don't know why yet.

#1 - Make sure you are using the EDGE ADM for the Chromium Version of Edge.  They policies are quite different.  If you edited old Edge GPOs it may not matter.

#2 - Check for Conflicting Chrome Settings...It may be possible there is a conflict since they are based on similar code.

#3 - Manually Chek to see if the Associated Registry Keys for the GPO are changed....

If not....Look at the POL file associated with your GPO.  (Exporting is one simple way to look at it...)

#4 -  https://sdmsoftware.com/389932-gpo-freeware-downloads/registry-pol-viewer-utility/  does the POL file look correct?

I won't even look at a GPO issue until all 3 of those are enabled.

And make sure multiple policies do not have edge settings, another GPO could be over-writing the settings.

Thanks Craig!  I used the Policy Viewer utility you suggested in #4 which enabled me to see what was actually getting applied.  Turns out I somehow had duplicated Edge settings across multiple policies.  I have no idea how that could have happened.  I think when I have some time I am going to build a new single policy and consolidate settings so I don't risk any more duplication.
