ZENworks Encryption on Windows can be slow...I would just wait it out.  It is quite a bit fast on Linux due to some code differences.  

at my lab which content folder about 65 GB....it spent 17 or 18 hours to completed..

if I run the backup command but tempily skip content backup (I manual copy ontent-repo folder to appliance)

whether it will process fast ?

configurationBackup is mandatory for the backup/restore process as it includes several configuration files like xml/conf/ini/properties etc into the output zip that needs to be encrypted and is comparable in size to other setups or labs. Only content backup can be skipped(optional) to avoid any addon delays and you can migrate manually later to improve overall backup time. For slow encryption in your case, I would suggest checking if there is no resource overhead on the Windows Primary during configuration backup, the PB encryption usage for crypto-based library is standard AFAIK but we need to check if this delay is experienced widely for any other environments too. For my lab, this took only a few min for the zip as per zen-capture-restore log.

    on the weekend, I use this tool on another windows primary server...I set skip backup content, but it still need about 7 hours....

but the restore seem not success..

   So I revert it (it is my lab server, only 1 device connected.) I backup all , it spent near 8 hours(AM11:32~PM7:45)..

I attach the log (this window primary server only for lab testing, the VM spec setting is win2019/2vcpu and 23 GB RAM, the physical workstation use i5-12500/128RAM and SSD )

If it took 7hrs without content, I would open a Service Request to have them see what is going on.

    it usually  no resource overhead (because now it only for test backup/restore , no other testing)

I have requested some information and shared an update on the case via the case owner to analyze/reproduce the slow encryption behavior on our Windows Server using some options to decrypt and re-encrypt the configurationBackup file if this takes longer on our setup.
