Do we have date format choice yet?

Are we still stuck with ZCM being all foreign date format to many of us?

The basic reports are just not date sortable to us, because they just cluster all the January sorted by day of month, then February the same, and so on.

All because ZCM is stuck on only one date format, and not the ones we use!

Or am I totally missing where the localization is hiding? Because as much as I look, I'm not finding it.

It would be so much easier to do the reports on ALL devices and sort them by date, rather than having to mess with ranges to get them to be all within a single year.

Its an old topic that I'm just not seeing movement on.

there are hints that setting up an additional server for reporting just to get date formatting is an option, but that appears to be extra cost (our time, effort, system resources) all to work around this

As far as I can tell...no.....

I set both my OS, Browser, and set the Browser to read the OS settings for date and I still saw MM/DD/YYYY in the ZCC.

Maybe someone else knows the trick, but I don't see it.

Searching known dev issues there is something that MIGHT be fixed in 24.4

"OCTCR40D741011 23.4 - ZCC Various Screens date in US format not UK"

While dates will often be localized for other Languages, there are some reasons why ENG_GB is not picked up over ENG_US with the updated date configuration. There is a CHANCE that in 24.4, we will honor the Browser Date Format in the ZCC. While it is Flagged to be completed in 24.4, I'm just not seeing confirmation it was done. So I will call this a "Maybe", but for it to work in 24.4, you will need to set your browser to that Language/Date Format if the fix is included.

Hi

Just for reference if it helps I logged that case and its case number is 02767179 if that helps with getting more customers to apply pressure to get this resolved.

Also to note I think this should be patched on 23.4 as that is the LTS version and has support for 3 years, as this is a bug not a feature request, customers should not need to upgrade to a newer version to get fixes with the Opentext release cycle and EULA.
