The Event Correlation process allows you to correlate any combination of AppManager events. When one or more events match the trigger associated with the process, the process can modify the original events and raise a new one with custom settings. The process has a default configuration that correlates any ServiceDown and SystemUpTime events that occur within two minutes of each other.
After rebooting a server, the AppManager Agent can start before other services are running and might raise events about them. The Event Correlation process looks for the “Reboot-Event” and any NT_ServiceDown issue. The process closes all events and raises another single event with the reboot message and the details of the ServiceDown events.
The process is extremely flexible and allows you to set up your own set of correlated events and the resulting event for the process to create. To create your own trigger, simply review the Event Correlation trigger and use it as a template for creating your own triggers.
The zip file includes the process and a signed process license.
