Monitors values in INI files for changes.

Here is a sample INI file section:

[Section]
Servername=.
ServiceName=Service1

Here are the job parameters that need to be specified in the CheckINIFile KS to watch the ServiceName value

Event? (y/n) - NetIQ Event if the value doesn't match (y/n)
Collect Data (y/n)- Collect statistical data?

INI File(s) to scan - This can be either a single or multiple INI files. Seperate multiple files to scan with a semicolon.

Section of the INI File to scan - Check which section of the INI file? (In the sample above the section [Section]. Do not specify Section in brackets.

INI Key to Check - Check which INI key value (In the sample above the INI Key is ServiceName.

Value to Check for in INI Key - Value to compare against. (In the sample it's Service1)

Event Severity Level - NetIQ event severity if no match.

To configure the KS to watch the above sample the values would look like this:

Event? (y/n) - y
Collect Data (y/n) - n
INI File(s) to scan - c:\temp\config.ini
Section of the INI File to scan - Section
INI Key to Check - ServiceName
Value to Check for in INI Key - Service1
Event Severity Level - 12 (Warning)
