Restart multiple Windows Services in order

This KS stops and starts a number of Windows services in the order specified. The start and stop lists are separate to allow for service dependencies.

Notes:

  • There is no relationship between the two lists, so they may contain different services or the same services in a different order.

  • The services in the Stop list will not be restarted unless they are also defined in the Start list and vice versa.

  • Intermediate run statuses such as pending & paused are not supported.

  • A service will be  stopped only if it is currently running, and started only if it is already stopped.
