Connect-IT GUI freezes while connect to external oracle database schema using ODBC

we are trying to implement integration scenario between SMAX(2020.11) and ERP system oracle database, specifically we will fitch data from a View implemented by ERP system administrators.

The issues we face as following, 

1- To open the connector of ERP database, it takes about 1 hour to open the connection, so we want to know what are possible reasons for this issue!

2- Ater the connection is opened, and when we trying to create new produced document, Connect-IT freezes and we have to close it , what may be cause of this problem?

Note :Connect-IT run as administrator, version is : 9.90

I wish this problem description is clear and thanks in advance for any insights or solution.

    This is not my area of expertise, however, the following are my thoughts...

    1 - Would it be better to use native oracle instead of ODBC.

    2 - If the ODBC connection takes an hour to open, then maybe it takes an hour (or more) to produce documents (making CIT look frozen)

    3 - What is the number of record result from the view

    4 - How complex is the view logic that give view results

    Thanks so much for your sueful insights, 

    I had used native oracle connection and there is no freezing anymore and I could fetch data.
