Searching in Query with Ampersand in string?

I've been trying to search through the query with my source files. Few of them have ampersands in them as a part of name. Each time I tried this, it throws an error.

Same goes for any record, which has a name with an ampersand in it.
Other special characters where processed without an error.


I am trying to search with a name to find an ID. It is a SMAX Query, so if anyone has any idea... Please let me know.
