by in IT Operations Management

Micro Focus Universe is our premier user event of the year. This post is about Micro Focus Universe Europe, 17-19 March 2020, in The Hague, Netherlands.

If you are in the Americas, we have an event for you, too: Micro Focus Universe in San Antonio, TX, in May. Watch for future posts about the Americas event!

Below, I'm going to break down the 'must-see' sessions that are happening each day in The Hague!

Tuesday at Universe

We start on Tuesday, 17 March, with a cross product/corporate keynote. Check for more on this keynote on the Universe Europe site, and for a new blog--coming soon!

Tom Goguen, the Chief Product Officer and IT Operations Management Product Group Leader, will give a Hybrid IT Management keynote that you won't want to miss.

We also have the ITOM demo zone where you can see the products in action and ask our experts questions. The demo zone will be open all three days.

Tuesday will conclude with a Dine Around The Hague event.

Thursday at Universe

On Thursday morning, 19 March, Harald Burose, the Director of Product Management, will be delivering the AIOps track strategy and roadmap. Harald will be joined by Kolja Elsaesser and Tobias Rothfuss from T-Systems. Here’s the abstract for his session:

Operations Bridge – What’s New, Strategy, and Roadmap

It’s been a remarkable year for Operations Bridge, and we are excited to share our vision for the future with you. Come see the latest advancements and improvements, including updates to core functionality around Artificial Intelligence for IT operations (AIOps), and a new licensing model that significantly improves flexibility when deploying expanded capabilities.

Thursday will also have workshops. These are one-hour hands-on sessions. Space for these is limited because each person will be at a workstation. These workshops typically fill up quickly, so book early to reserve your seat.

The last talk will end at 12.30. There will be a “grab and go” lunch from 12.30 to 14.00 as the event ends.
