Delegate Approval from the Portal

Many users that need to approve things do not access the "backend Service Manager".  They should be allowed to delegate their approval directly from the Portal.   We customized 7.11 to do this - but not we can't do that using the Portal


  • Delivered in 2020.02. But still not supported in Mobile app.

  • This is a feature really important. If a user is OOO, all the approvals related to that user are stuck until the user comes back to the office. Having the Approval Delegation option in the portal (and the mobile App) gives an option to delegate approval without the intervention of the SM administrator, and let the ticket workflow continue, giving agility and flexibility.
