In Service Manager with SOLR, numerous file types could be added (automatically) to the knowledge base and and the content was searchable.
If I understand the documentation correctly, this is not possible in SMAX, also not when the Sharepoint connector is used.
Should be a part of the solution.
To really demonstrate big data capabilities, it would be very impressive and helpfule to e.g. make it possible to search for things / objects in pictures / videos (show all knowledge documents containing a tabe, a picture of a bluescreen, etc.)
