In SM 9.6x documentation you can read that there is a known issue that WSDL2JS utility cannot cope with Web Service's WSDL files if they have duplicated type names in different namespaces.
The workaround mentioned in SM 9.6x documentation is to do manual changes in WSDL files
Quite a number of Web Service's WSDL files are not hand-made by customers but coming from other software providers like PeopleSoft…
So these WSDL files are designed to get used directly i.e. knowledge about Web standards to change something in WSDL files is usually not required.
To free customers from this dilemma the IDEA here is Micro Focus to enhance the WSDL2JS utility to support the duplicated type names in different namespaces (according to w3.org Web standards) so that 3rd party WSDL files can get used right away.
