SMAX doesn't store the time fields in UTC but in Epoch time format, as a result, the information is timezone-independent. You can "print" the value into a text field and check what got stored.

What field on the ticket shows 5 PM? Could you please add a screenshot?

Is the time on your machine synced with a time server or is it manually configured?

Yes I sync my machine with time server & restarted the machine too. But still the issue persists.

Attaching the screenshot for your reference. You can refer the creation time & my machine time which show difference of 3 hours.

Let's try to narrow down if it is a UI display issue or a data issue.

Could you please run the following REST call (replacing the highlighted part with your values)?

GET https://<URL>/rest/<TenantID>/ems/Request?filter=Id=<ID>&layout=Id,EmsCreationTime

Then convert the epoch time value to readable format (example, use this page: https://www.epochconverter.com/)

It will tell us if the data is correctly stored or not.

Second test: try creating a request using the EMS bulk REST API and compare. This should also help us narrow down where the issue is.

For ticket 40343, it appears the time indicated in the REST call (1642191441648), once converted in epoch time, matches exactly the display in the grid, in your local timezone.This means the issue is likely on the server side,

Could you please check the date on all the worker nodes. The control plane nodes are not relevant. What is important is the actual time on the worker nodes, not the timezone, just make sure the time in the relevant timezone is accurate.Please check the value on all the worker nodes.

You need to compare the date retrieved with the real date at the time you run the command. Assuming you posted this message around the time you ran the command, If my math with timezones is correct, I believe the time on that server is off by about 3 hours.

Is the server time configured manually?

Hi Brindusa,

Yes looks like the problem is in servers date & time. They haven't set it correctly. The screenshot is as below. You can see there is a time difference of 3 hours when compare to system time & standard time which is causing the issue.

We will be setting the server time to right date & time & that should work. I will update you once we fix it. Thank you for your help to fix this issue.
