Changing name of network device in nnmi

Hi Experts,

Is there availability to change the name of device that is discovered by nnmi to another name the customer wants like for example the name in screenshot, can I change it to another name?

    Hello Mohamed,

    In Discovery Configuration under the section "Node Name Resolution" there are the following options for this name to choose.

    - short DNS name

    - Full DNS name

    - short sysName

    - full sysName

    - IP address

    So, if you change sysName on a device and choose the option "short sysName" in discovery config the Name will be changed after config poll.

    Similar for DNS options.
