Change Network device IP address

Hello Team,

We have NNMI 2022.11 classic on windoes server 2019.

we have few Network nodes which is alredy under monitoring. Now few nodes IP has changed on Network devcies leval. but we want to change in NNMi level without deleting nodes. can you please guide me how to change the IP address

You can change the SNMP management address of the device. It will connect to the device on that address and get the data. Im not sure if it will update the device ip but atleast you communicate with the device that way.

You can change this here: Inventory -> Nodes -> Select the device -> General -> Managing Agents -> Select the Agent under Agent name -> Change the management ip and save it.

You might be able to use the nnmcommunication.ovpl script.

nnmcommunication.ovpl updateSnmpAgentSettings -node mynode -address 192.168.1.1 -mode AUTO
