NA - Is it possible to define auth and priv method for SNMPv3 in a Device Password Rule?

Dear all,

Currently it seems that you can only adjust the methods for Auth and Priv for the individual device subsequently via Edit Device. I was not able to find informationen about pre-define auth and priv methods (e.g. SHA256/AES192).

Is it not possible to configure this in the Device Password Rule?

    Hi, this would be hand but I don’t know of a way to do this in a password rule.  I do know you can set the defaults in adjustable_options, but the variable used is to set the defaults and contains all methods, not say just the two you’re interested in.  I don’t think you could safely use this variable in multiple rules with different values.  

    Good luck, hopefully someone can say if it is possible / what the variables are.
