Send mail operation error ( couldn't connect to the host )

Hi.

I was working on the send mail operation and received the following error,  

{exception=com.sun.mail.util.MailConnectException: Couldn't connect to host, port: smtp.gmail.com, 465; timeout -1;

(All the necessary and required inputs were provided)

What will be the cause for this error and what will be the solution ?

Could anyone please help !!.

    Enable TLS, tlsVersion STARTTLS,  connect to port  587, enter your gmail userid as user and app password as password. If you dont have app password created in your google account you need to create that first in your google account security settings.
