Knowledge Doc: What CN and Subject Alternative Name (SAN) are registered in the self-signed certificate for Central generated during the installation?

The self-signed certificate generated during the installation of Central usually registers the canonical host name obtained from the Java environment in CN. And the IP address associated with NIC and the canonical host name are set in SAN.

Environment

  • Operations Orchestration (OO) : Central

Situation

If you do not provide a server certificate for Central during the Central installation, the installer will generate a self-signed certificate to use as the server certificate for Central. What is registered in the CN (Common Name) of the Subject of that self-signed certificate? And will a Subject Alternative Name (SAN) be registered?
