SiteScope Installation Error

Hi,

I am attempting to install SiteScope 24.2 (12.00) on a RHEL8 system.

I uninstalled 23.4 (11.99).

I keep getting the error below during the installation (from the /tmp/SiteScope_12.00_OpenTextInstaller.txt file)

ERROR - Failure installing : package SiteScope JRE 1.08.402 (SiteScope JRE)

It attempts to rollback the package SiteScope JRE 1.08.402 (SiteScope JRE)

but fails with " the package SiteScope JRE 1.08.402 (SiteScope JRE); cannot be uninstalled. error: error: package SiteScope JRE is not installed"

Please advise,

In the installation log it finds the rpm.

Then,

When "Preparing packages...

package SiteScopeJRE-1.08.402-Linux2.6_64.rpm does not verify: no digest

Fixing RPM db. Leaving : SiteScopeJRE-1.08.402

Then it attempts to Rollback.

The issue was FIPS was enabled on the system

I ran this to disable FIPS

-To check if FIPS is enabled-- ]# fips-mode-setup --check

-To disable FIPS-- ]# fips-mode-setup --disable

reboot the system.

Perform the SiteScope installation.
