Excellent, that means everything is working as expected...
HAC services are running only on 1 DPS at any moment.
Do you mean you're do not see the HAC processes on any of the DPS's? then there is a problem. Stop DPS2, then DPS1, take this opportunity to reboot the servers if they we not rebooted for a long time, then start DPS1, should see the HAC processes showing. Then start DPS2.
If the issue continues after those steps, please log a support ticket for further troubleshooting.
Hi Asaf, nothing is working because the gateway services cannot start also. they get stuck on the opr-as service.
I get this error in the opr-as-boot logfile
ERROR StatusConsoleListener Unable to delete file C:\HPBSM\log\webapps\opr-configserver.log: java.nio.file.FileSystemException C:\HPBSM\log\webapps\opr-configserver.log: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
then when I check when I check the opr-configserver.log file I see the below error

thank you, I have tried that process a couple of times with no joy,
Go to jmx 29000 and check the "hac-manager" and "hac-backup" to check your HAC assignment. If it's still an issue, open a support ticket quickly because right now your OBM is not monitoring.
I can access JMX via port 29000 and have a view of the assignments mentioned. and The HAC is assigned to my primary DPS, however I can see the assigned date but not the start date. I do have an ongoing support case
check if the server and backup are still listed,
Yes both servers are still listed
Now try this..

and check the assignment status again, if they are assigned and running on 001
