No Metrics Showing in Performance Dashboards

Hello experts,

We recently upgraded our OBM to version 24.2 in the development environment and installed the CHF OBM242HF20240627T061519Z. Since then, we are unable to see any metrics in the performance dashboards. Every dashboard displays "no data found error", as shown here:

However, the Operations Agent (OA) is collecting the metrics correctly. For example:
[non-root-user@server1 ~]$ ovcodautil -dumpds CODA | grep GBL_MEM_UTIL
08/12/24 02:55:00 PM|GBL_MEM_UTIL | 73.95|

When I click on the error, I see the following error message and response:

Does anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening and how to resolve it?

we need to see pmi.log for more information.

you may want to submit support case for deeper investigation.

If your OBM is running as nonroot there were special instructions in the hotfix readme to change some permissions on PD files. Double check the readme of the CHF and reapply the hotfix after making the permissions change. If your root this does not apply the pmi.log as Asaf said may give more clues.

chown nonroot /opt/OV/newconfig/OVPM/pd-db.jar
chown nonroot /opt/OV/newconfig/OVPM/pd-util.jar
chown nonroot /opt/OV/newconfig/OVPM/Perf.war
chown nonroot /opt/OV/java/OvSecCore.jar

We changed the ownership as specified in the README file. However, we noticed that OvSecCore.jar is not mentioned in the latest documentation:
Change ownership of the OBM specific library files in /opt/OV to the non-root user using following commands as root user:
a. chown <non-root user> /opt/OV/newconfig/OVPM/pd-db.jar
b. chown <non-root user> /opt/OV/newconfig/OVPM/pd-util.jar
c. chown <non-root user> /opt/OV/newconfig/OVPM/Perf.war
