Hi Team,

Hello there,
OBM and BSM are a bit different. Lets assume you have OBM. If you have OBM, you could start by finding out if there is an existing Management Pack. If there is one, you would then need to install and configure it - check its documentation. You can also ask the SAN vendor what they recommend. WIthout knowing what SAN you have, makes things difficult. OBM can monitor many different even sources, log files, event logs, SNMP, WMI, run scripts and so on - please see https://docs.microfocus.com/doc/Operations_Bridge_Manager/24.2/OmPtAbouthtml for examples. How to manage this really depends - two examples:
- Lets assume for a moment that you have Dell PowerStore - then you can use https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/powerstore-5000/pwrstr-monitoring/configure-snmp to as an event source.
- Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Primera and Nimble - then you can use https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sd00004106en_us&page=GUID-D7147C7F-2016-0901-0848-0000000004C5.html&docLocale=en_US to help.
I understand this is a vague answer, but it's the best I can do with the information provided. I hope this helps.
