Name and ip address has changed ?

HI ALL,

OVOW 7.5 win 2k3

Server, where agent Operations for Windows is installed, the name and ip address has changed. The agent has been installed manually. What it is necessary to make for restoring of operation of the agent? Maybe do to reinstall the agent and to re-add the node in the console?

    Hi,

    - change the managed node name at Mgt server.
    - at managed node, kill the agent, change the FQDN name at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\ITO" in registery
    - delete all the temp, coda and vpwin files and then cleanstart the agent.
    - deploy policies and instrumentation on the node from management server
