Related CIs for an event not showing in BSM 9.25



There are a few events in BSM console where the related CI is not showing. I am attaching the snap for your reference.


Please let me know a solution at your earliest. Thanks in advance.

  • Is it an event from SiteScope? If so, navigate to SiteScope Integration Preferences and check 2 things:


    1. open Operations Manager Integration form and make sure you have "Prefer events over metrics in BSM Service Health (global preference)" checkbox selected.

    2. open BSM Integration form and check that "Disable all logging to Business Service Management" checkbox is not selected.


    Then generate the SiteScope event again and see if it resolves to a CI this time.
