    Hi hp4u,

you don't tell us what you did to uninstall, or what exactly caused the installation to fail,
also is this an update from 9.23 for example, or a fresh installation?
If the installation worked as expected, you will have the bits to uninstall it under <HPBSM>\Uninstall\
on my box which is running 9.25 IP1 I can find

    01/20/2014  01:23 PM    <DIR>          HPBsm922
    01/20/2014  02:59 PM    <DIR>          HPBsm923
    04/24/2014  10:32 AM    <DIR>          HPBsm924
    01/22/2015  04:20 PM    <DIR>          HPBsm924IP121
    06/01/2015  02:24 PM    <DIR>          HPBsm925
    06/01/2015  03:31 PM    <DIR>          HPBsm925IP261

    Directory of C:\HPBSM\Uninstall\HPBsm925IP261

    06/01/2015  03:31 PM            20,362 ovapp.xml
    06/01/2015  03:37 PM             1,018 ovObjStorage.db
    06/01/2015  03:31 PM           297,086 ovsetup.ico
    06/01/2015  03:31 PM        76,499,208 setup.exe

    as I installed 9.20, then updated to 9.22, then to 9.24 and so on, 9.24 IP1, 9.25, 9.25 IP1

If I would need to unstall 9.25 IP1 (so that I end up with 9.25), I would execute
     C:\HPBSM\Uninstall\HPBsm925IP261\setup.exe

if you find this for 9.24, you can run etup.exe and thus uninstall 9.24.

Another, more brutal way is to run the uninstallation tool which removes the complete BSM installation (even then base 9.20),
The tool hould be used with caution because its execution is irreversible.
    It is available as patch

BAC_00897 - BSM 9.2x Uninstall tool for Linux
BAC_00898 - BSM 9.2x Uninstall tool for Windows

To run the tool, download the patch for the operating system BSM runs on, then

     1. Extract the "BSM 9.2x Uninstall Tool" zip file locally on the BSM machine you want to clean.
     2. Follow the instructions from the Readme file
     3. Reboot the machine
