Need SIS script alert to be able to pass parameters which contain both space and double quotation

There is a known issue about sitescope script alert is unable to pass parameters which contain both space and double quotation.

https://softwaresupport.softwaregrp.com/doc/KM00397561 (QCCR1I84821)

We verified this behavior with following parameter.

-X POST "https://yahoo.com/aaaa/bbbb" -d "To=+811234567890" -d "From=+810987654321" -u AC1:BD2
The propose of this parameter is to divided it into 3 parts and pass them with a script alert.

The expected behavior is as below.
param1: -X POST "https://yahoo.com/aaaa/bbbb" -d "To=
param2: +811234567890" -d "From=
param3: +810987654321" -u AC1:BD2

So following content is put in the “parameters” of script alert settings.(Windows SiteScope)

'-X POST "https://yahoo.com/aaaa/bbbb" -d "To=' '+811234567890" -d "From=' '+810987654321" -u AC1:BD2'

And we get following result which is not the result we expected.

param1: "-X POST "https://yahoo.com/aaaa/bbbb" -d "To
param2: " "+811234567890" -d "From
param3: " "+810987654321" -u AC1:BD2"

We removed all the double quotations in the parameter and tested again.

'-X POST https://yahoo.com/aaaa/bbbb -d To=' '+811234567890 -d From=' '+810987654321" -u AC1:BD2'

And below is the result.

param1: "-X POST https://yahoo.com/aaaa/bbbb -d To="

param2: "+811234567890 -d From="

param3: "+810987654321"

We verified again with Linux SiteScope.

As a result this issue is not seen in Linux SiteScope.

Parameters: '-X POST "https://yahoo.com/aaaa/bbbb" -d "To=' '+811234567890" -d "From=' '+810987654321" -u AC1:BD2'

Result:

param1: -X POST "https://yahoo.com/aaaa/bbbb" -d "To=

param2: +811234567890" -d "From=

param3: +810987654321" -u AC1:BD2

We are asking if this issue could be fixed in future release of SiteScope.

In other words, we are hoping Windows SiteScope script alert is able to pass parameters which contain both space and double quotation.

Since this is working for Linux & not for Windows - this is a defect that needs to be addressed. Please request your support engineer to raise this as a defect. Idea Exchange is for new product enhancement requests / ideas only.
