SBM 12.1 Listing Reports: Make relational field values un-clickable

SBM 12.1 introduced a new feature in listing reports, making relational fields clickable hyperlinks by default.

While I think that this is a good idea in general, we have a large number of reports where we do not want the hyperlinks; they confuse end users that do not have deeper technical knowledge of the SBM data model.

Is there a way to turn off these hyperlinks? Either by column in individual reports, or by a general setting, to revert to the pre-12.1 behavior?

    Question:

Is this for reports created in Composer (which I generally call "listing reports") or reports created in the WorkCenter GUI??

      good question.

what version were you running before? I don't remember this being a new feature. I just tried in 12.0 and it also gives links. If we can find a version where there are not links, maybe we can grab the report template from that version and try it in the 12.1 version and see if it still works. (This assumes, of course, that the change was made in the template.)

The links were added in 12.0.  It would be nice to have the ability to turn them off.

You can modify the view to use a comma instead of the line breaks, which can help save space, but I understand not wanting the links at all.

I tried getting a copy of the report template from SBM 11.8 and putting it in SBM 12.1, but the relational fields were still links. So, it's a core change, not an easy template change. I haven't been able to find any way to turn this off or control the feature. I'll say that you need to put this into the "Idea Exchange" section of this site. Maybe others will vote for it and we can get a change in a later version.
