Issue:  Currently as of SBM 11.7, a widget that is a Report, even if set as "Extra Large", does not fully vertically span the webpage. Users can then easily miss the Paging feature at the bottom of the report.  It becomes confusing, for end users, and it can disrupt their work because they miss items that may need their attention.

Enhancement Request:  Add an option to set a dashboard widget height to expand into the empty space on the bottom of the browser. This assumes that there are no widgets below the widget.

Solutions: Ability to full span/shrink a widget to the exact height of the report in the widget.

(See screenshot for reference)

  • I think this idea goes along with the concept of responsive design. The dashboard and it's widgets should size appropriate based upon the resolution of the screen it's being displayed upon. If the widget is the only thing on that dashboard, it should scale to fill in the whole space.

  • It seems to me that the confusion stems from the report in widget does not show bottom paging information.  Perhaps, part of the solution is to make the report shrink to the widget size so that you can see the paging footer.
