In JavaScript you can use this - just replace funcs.tod() with your date.

var dateString = "" + funcs.day(funcs.tod())+"/"+funcs.month(funcs.tod())+"/"+funcs.year(funcs.tod())

A small suggestion I need - Currently the date is populated as dd/m/yyyy (18/3/2024). Can we make it to look like 18/03/24?

The padstart is not working as it throws error "monthString.padStart is not a function"

So reverted to the previous code. 

Which version are you running?  This works both in SM9.72 and SM9.80

We are on 9.61

var dateString = "" + funcs.day(funcs.tod())+"/"+monthString.slice(-2)+"/"+yearString.substr(2);
